No just a spoiled brat. Heard about this on NPR today. At least she didn't use her cellphone this time. Last time she had to do community service because she beat her housekeeper with a cell phone. She needs some anger management classes.

Sadly too many British people get drunk and act stupidly here - yobs they are called I thought this is what you were referring to!

I wish I could say that British respect for Ghandi has improved, but sadly, Im afraid not. Its not because of what he stood for, but simply because the days and lessons of the Raj are not taught in British schools. Its an era of history sadly forgotten for the most part. Indeed the Empire is long forgotten - and how we came to achieve it through so much bloodshed and battles.

I have done a bit of research on this and it saddens me that so few people know about the long fight for Indian independence. Sadly though, its not just caucasian Brits who dont know this - British Indians too are sadly ignorant in my experience.

The lessons of history are too easily forgotten Im afraid.
