I'm so sorry you are upset.

What specifically are they saying that has you so upset?

Who are these people?

Hi Devi, sorry you are upset. I haven't seen any writings lately about Mahatma Gandhi. I did see that one post had "Obama Gandhi" written on it, and I thought it was disgusting that anyone would dare to compare the two at all!

I'm not sure if that's what you were refering to......but thanks for the warning.

Miss you my friend.
Love,
Your friend deepa

If it helps much mockery is born of ignorance. Perhaps if you posted a comment to the effect of how wonderful Ghandi was and all that he achieved for the Indian people, it may go some way to helping alleviate their ignorance?

Education is the key in my opinion.

Education is the ONLY key...to remove ignorance. MAHATMA GANDHI was a great human being...i am too small a man to write about him....i have visited his home in Porbandar, Gujarat state....i am a native of Gujarat state.....Mahatma's work & preaching is a part of my daily life.....thanks... Sanat.

yeah,,,lots of poor people there, but they have real hearts.....here in USA....No body even know who their neighbors are...!!!! what an artificial smiling life !! thanks..Sanat.

As an avid recycler I think the thing about the US that shocked me the most was the waste! - water, energy, food, things, all just thrown away. I love that India has such a vibrant commercial society - little men with little businesses making something useful out of something we would just throw away. Or making complex and beautiful things without the need for complex machines or tools.

I couldn't agree more. My heart feels more connected with the Indian people than with my own.

Mahatma Ghandi was one of the greatest men on earth. Those who do not see that are ignorant.

YEAH....he was a nice human being....when he met the BRITISH EMPIRE IN 1935....he was half dressed....half open body...THE KING ASKED HIM, WHY U R NOT DRESSED PROPERLY ? GANDHI SAID, YOUR MAJESTY, YOU ARE FULLY DRESSED FOR BOTH OF US..... BTW....Mr. Churchill called him a half naked fakir.. !!!..THANKS..BHANU.
